The family of a Seattle woman is asking for the public’s help to find the driver who struck her and then left the scene. According to a KOMO News report, the woman suffered multiple broken bones in the violent crash. Officials said the woman and her husband were walking home from the grocery store in Seattle’s Ravenna neighborhood at the intersection of northeast 55th street near 28th avenue northeast.
They crossed the street outside a crosswalk and were struck by a car. The impact from the collision threw the woman onto the hood of the car. The driver drove with the woman on his car’s hood for 40 feet and then took off. She has suffered two broken legs, a broken pelvis, and brain injuries. The vehicle that hit the woman has been described as a tan or beige sedan. Anyone with information is asked to contact Seattle police.
