Representing people who have been injured is just one of the ways our firm strives to improve lives in the community. As attorneys, we work with people who have already been hurt to get the necessary compensation they need to fully recover. By offering the Make Your Mark Scholarship, we hope to improve lives tomorrow by helping young people who will work to shape a brighter future and a better, safer world.

Because we believe in paying it forward, our scholarship application asks that you submit a short essay explaining your goals and dreams. It is our hope that by helping you to achieve them, we will be helping those around you. Individuals can have a huge impact on the lives of countless others, and we want to invest in someone who plans to be a force for positive change.

If you are an undergraduate, or a high school senior preparing to move on to a university, your education is probably putting a financial burden on you or your family. At Hardwick and Pendergast, P.S., we know the future depends on the young minds being shaped today for responsibilities that will, in turn, shape the world. If you have a vision for how you might contribute to improving the lives around you, we want to help you get the education you need in order to make that vision a reality.

Help us help you by visiting our application page and sharing your story with us. The deadline for entry is June 13, 2019, and the winner will be announced on July 11, 2019. No entries will be accepted after the deadline, so don’t wait if you’re interested in applying. If you’re looking for inspiration, or want to see how you might be featured if selected as this year’s winner, we invite you to learn about Emily, who was awarded the scholarship in 2017. Big or small, your dreams can have an impact, and we want to be a part of making them come true.
